Why eCert?

Progressive Chambers of Commerce provide an indispensable suite of services to their members – facilitating global trade and championing their members’ business interests. These services include the stamping of Certificates of Origin and other supporting documents for Exporters.

Exporting is a complex process, often involving up to 27 parties and over 40 documents.

Current practice sees Certificates of Origin mailed or couriered to the Chamber of Commerce for certification – an inefficient, error-prone and costly paperwork driven process for Exporters. Should the Chamber return the document to the Exporter, to correct errors in the original submission, this compounds delays and costs to the Exporter.
